Privacy policy

Last updated: Tuesday 13 October 2026

This policy explains how Volare collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or use the Volare cleaning management software.

1. Who we are

Volare (“we”, “us”) provides cleaning business management software to companies in the United Kingdom.

For the details of your own account (for example, your name and work email) we are the data controller. For the personal data you store in Volare about your clients and team, your company is the data controller and Volare acts as your data processor.

2. What we collect

Account details: name, email address, company name and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Business data you enter: clients, addresses, access instructions, team members, schedules, hours, invoices, payments and expenses.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, sign-in times and essential cookies.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the service, to support you, to bill your subscription and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service, to comply with the law and, where required, with your consent.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored in data centres in the UK or the European Economic Area. We use carefully selected sub-processors (such as hosting and email delivery) bound by data protection agreements. Any transfer outside the UK is protected by appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. After you close your account we delete it within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep certain records (for example, financial records) for longer.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy in a portable format.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Cookies

We only use essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Security

Connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, sessions can be revoked at any time and every company's data is isolated from every other company's.

10. Changes

We will tell you about material changes to this policy by email or in the app before they take effect.
